Jack’s Urban Eats is a perfect fit for Fountains at Roseville, said Yoncie Griswold, General Manager of the center. Jack’s is a winner; a proven success, Yoncie further stated, having formerly managed Loehmann’s Plaza, another Inter-Cal Real Estate owned-property, where Jack’s Urban Eats has operated a successful restaurant for numerous years. I am so excited that they have chosen Fountains at Roseville for their flagship location.

“The fresh, made to order meals, a variety of popular menu items and outstanding customer service are just three reasons why it has done so well at Loehmann’s Plaza. I know it will really be a great addition to our restaurant mix and our center.”, said Griswold.

The secret of success behind the eight year-old restaurant group is they have something guaranteed to please everyone’s palate. The signature steak salad, hand carved tri-tip sandwiches, made-to-order salads, popular sides like macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and “Urban Fries” topped with bleu cheese and chili oil, are just some of the menu-pleasing items that patrons enjoy.

The menu will be consistent with other Jack’s Urban Eats locations but there may be some local or seasonal surprises, according to the group’s Managing General Partner Trevor Sanders. “Consistency and high-quality ingredients are a given. Since this is a flagship location, you may see a few twists for the Roseville crowd”. Sanders added, “We are very much looking forward to becoming a part of Fountains’ restaurant family. Fountains at Roseville have become the new “downtown” gathering place of Roseville. That’s why it’s such a good fit for us; because we believe in locating restaurants in the center of a community.”

Sprouts Farmers Market at Citrus Town Center is scheduled to open its doors in early March of 2012.  Sprouts will also be joining the anticipated openings of soon to be Carter’s Children Store & WingStop.

Zocalo will be opening its second location at the Fountains in early Spring.

Fountains is excited to duplicate the mid-town eateries draw as a gathering place for celebrations as well as night crowd. Inspired by the majestic Mexican town squares and featuring menu items representing the best of the region, Zocalo’s warm décor and premiere menu will be a welcome invitation to those who appreciate authentic culture and cuisine. Owner Ernesto Jimenez and his chefs often tour Mexican regions to share recipes and study techniques imparted by local chefs, allowing the upscale restaurant to honor the heritage of each region. The extensive menu caters to lunch, dinner and weekend breakfast crowds, as well as featuring happy hour specials and a full bar.

Construction on the 4,500 square foot eatery will begin in January with an expected late winter/early spring opening.

Fountains at Roseville has dedicated October to support breast cancer dedication, treatment and awareness during the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Fountains has partnered with national women’s fraternity Zeta Tau Alpha to raise funds from the collection of Yoplait pink lid yogurts. The variety of food products will be on sale now thru December with local affiliate Susan G. Komen For The Cure receiving 10 cents for every PINK lid collected. Sacramento ZTA Alumnae group annually ranks in the top groups nationally for the collection of lids. Their goal is over 15,000 lids collected in 2011. Clean lids may be turned in at guest services during normal business hours.

Fountains guest services will also have free BSE (breast self exam) calendar stickers to remind both men and women the importance of monthly self exams.

Breast Cancer stamps are also being sold by guest services. The stamps were first introduced by Kaiser Surgeon and Cure Breast Cancer CEO Dr. Ernie Bodai. Since the stamps inception in 1996, over 950 million stamps have been sold with $73 million raised for breast cancer research.

A number of Fountains staff and store personnel will also be observing the month by wearing pink ribbons.
